ACE 7450 Print Head Replacement Instructions 1. Power on printer. Slide forms select lever to the top ( rear feed ) position. 2. After print head stops, power off printer. 3. Slide print head all the way to the left and remove ribbon. 4. Follow Removal instructions below 5. No adjustments are needed after replacement 6. Caution- DO NOT remove the clear plastic ribbon shield as it requires a delicate adjustment when replaced. REMOVAL 1. Remove 2 pan head screws that secure the print head onto the carrier. 2. Remove 1 screw from the carrier cover and pull the print head toward the front of the printer. 3. Disconnect the print head cables. 
NOTE- the 2 screws are located UNDER the print head. (see next photo) 1. Slide forms select lever to rear feed. 2. Power the printer off. 3. Print head to left. 4. Use screw holes located Under the case to access print head screws. 
Screws are located under the print head 
NOTE – be careful not to loosen the ribbon guide screws as it requires a delicate adjustment if moved. Replacing the print head does not require the ribbon guide to be moved, so make sure to locate the correct screws for the print head.
